First we removed the hood, fenders and windshield to gain access to the firewall, heater core housings and dashboard screws. 
Remove steering wheel assembly, all screws to pedal mounts then wiring harness mount (fuse holder) then dashboard and all cables to speed-o and heater.  This way you don't need to pull all wiring from all gauges. 
Remember to remove the Master Cylinder from firewall and tip it forward to keep it out of the way.
We cut out the defroster vents from the CJ7 tub to replace it on the YJ tub since the YJ cowl is different.
We cut the exact same size cowl area from the YJ tub and made sure of proper fit.
